Gary is a precious Lab, or Lab Mix, that just came to Wayside Rescue and Sanctuary from a high kill shelter in South Texas. He is estimated to be from two to three years old by looking at his teeth but acts younger. He is the happiest fellow we have seen around here as we are use to having primarily Great Pyrenees that are usually more low energy! Gary would be fabulous with a family. He loves our children volunteers at the ranch and they have a blast with him! Sadly, Gary is Heartworm Positive, but we have already started him on his month of Doxycycline. It would be incredible if you and your family could adopt this sweet boy now and help him through his heartworm treatment. We use the conservative three-shot Immiticide Treatment that is easier than the two-shot treatment. Gary's heartworm treatment has already been paid for by his fans here at WSRS. Gary has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Please take him into your heart and home. You will not regret it. Gary's adoption fee is $100.
